About a year subsequent to the release of their demo "Mutilated And Forgotten", the German Death Metal ensemble HAMMER OF GORE has returned with a new demo, "Beheaded And Stuffed With Feces".
 
The band's prior release was a solid and resonant Old School Death Metal demo, featuring a subtle Swedish flair. This new offering closely resembles its predecessor, though it is less influenced by Swedish elements and seems to be more aligned with the Old School American Death Metal style. Fans of groups like Rottrevore or Deteriorot would certainly do well to explore the music of these German artists. A noteworthy detail is the maniacal, high-pitched vocal burst present in the first track, which is an unusual occurrence in Old School Death Metal, providing an interesting twist. While it may not be seen as particularly original or groundbreaking, it is evident that the band did not intend to pursue such goals. Instead, they present a thoroughly entertaining and well-executed Death Metal demo.
